Description
Beeswax wraps are reusable and eco-friendly way of storing food. These wraps replace the need for single-use and plastic products like cling film, tin foil, zip lock bags and plastic boxes for food storage. These wraps can be washed and used to store food in fridge or even in the freezer for up to a month. Beeswax is naturally anti-bacterial and this keeps the food fresh.
The wraps are handmade with 100% cotton and 100% natural beeswax. There are no other additives or flavours added to it. This makes the wraps completely biodegradable at the end of it's life. If the wraps are used as per recommendation, they will last easily more than 6 months and up to a year.
Use instructions:
Place the food, for example cheese or limes or left-over sandwich, in the middle of the wrap. Fold the wrap around the item and press into the shape of the item with the palm of your hand. Beeswax has a low melting point. The heat from your hand melts the beeswax enough that it molds itself into the shape. Please don't use it to wrap meat or fish or pineapples as you cannot use hot water to clean the beeswax wraps.
The wrap will also come with a button on a long jute string to help pack your food for travel. Complete usage instructions attached.
Care instructions:
Wash and store in a cool, dry place and not in direct sunlight. Don't store or place near heat or place it in a microwave, dishwasher or washing machine.
If the wax cracks after repeated use, please the wraps between 2 sheets of grease proof paper and iron on a medium heat setting. This will melt the wax and fix all the cracks in the wrap. Make sure that your iron or your ironing board doesn't come in direct contact with the wax. In case of contact with wax, clean with hot soapy water to remove any residual wax on surfaces.

If you have damaged the wraps and wax has flaked off (within 6 months of purchase), please post the wraps back to us with a return envelope. We will fix the wraps and post the wraps back in the return envelope. There is no charge for this service.

- Small beeswax wraps - 20cm by 20cm
- Medium beeswax wraps - 27cm by 27cm
- Large beeswax wraps - 37cm by 37cm
Wash instructions:
Hand wash only with cold water and mild dish washing soap. Don't wash in a washing machine or dishwasher.
NB:Colours may vary slightly due to the colour setting of your screen. Item is made in London, United Kingdom in my smoke free and pet free home.

Conditions of return:
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
